what do you think roger?
nicer play or a more affordable place?
but i'm trying to think of a something completely different. maybe a restaurant no ones tried.

Dude, F italian. Reason? it always comes down to a matter of perspective here in socal. I LOVE Italian food. I can cook a lil' italian and let me tell you - there's so many things to consider when you're talkin' about 'good italian food'. If you want some really good italian...go to the east coast. There are some damn talented chefs here in socal, but none that work for cheap. Not any more anyways....
I say we go for spicy this time...i say we go Southern Food...like craw fish, shrimp, jambalya etc. There's this place near HB that's pretty legit...brb w/link

see that's what i'm sayin' - mom n' pop shops are good for most genres of food. But italian is the only thing i debate about. People nowadays, including mom n' pop shops are cutting back a lot now. When i think of plates as simple as chicken parm, people are skimpin' out on the seasoning. Instead of using fresh parsley, thyme, rosemary - they're getting this pre-packaged bullshit. The taste is significantly different. What's supposed to be flavor country is bland city. I can't taste anything more than cheese, some salt and that generic 'italian spices' bottled **** you can buy at the store for $3.50.
