I'm thinking thinking this should be enough advance planning for a meet in June at DBs at 2pm. We'll actually have lunch there so we are customers and I like the idea of parking top level of the garage. We can take some nice pictures.

I see alot of people wanting to meet up all over this board so lets give it another go. Let me know who would like to meet up and we can rally the troops together.

The SoCal RXclub has their meetings the first saturday of each month. Each county/region has their own meeting spot.

 

I'm interested... the parking idea sounds great, this way I wont be driving all over!

Yeah just be get ir straight this little get together is going to be in South Bay. Milpitas to be more exact. I figure we'll let the date stay the same though the Crystal Guard thing is happening that day. So folks that don't wanna do that can hang out with the folks at DBs. If it goes good then we can meet again next month and those who went to Crystal guard demo can roll in and hang out with us eventually too.

There is always going to be some cool event that pops up so it would be nice to just keep the date in tact. Sound like a plan?

I won't be able to make this one as I'll be in Vegas that weekend. I am definitely up for the next meet.

 

Not sure that I can make that meet at D&B's on the 12th. Maybe next time for me. I'm all for meeting and talking with RX owners, but what I really like doing more is driving. Has anyone thought about doing a "ride and meet"? We could meet, ride, stop and eat and talk, then return home. We could take some backroads to a winery, up Mt. Hamilton or Diablo or to some other picnic spot. There are lots of places areound the bay area. Just some thoughts.

Yeah I can see cruise happening. I actually do it often but would like to get to know a few RX owners first. Kind of feel the vibe ya know. If everyone is pretty nice it becomes even better riding out together. I know we won't see ya this meet but maybe next time!

 

BTW Rxbears, I think those options you had are all great ideas!

 

We have done several of these so far actually and are looking at trying to do another one. They are a lot of fun and work out very well. Our first trip was to the Robert Mondavi winery where we stopped for some wine tasting after a spirited drive.

If you have some good recommendations for a route pm me with it and we can figure something out. Dosdog is usually the one who organizes these things.

 

Oh, count me out for this one too as it makes no sense to have scheduled two meets on the same weekend which are trying to do the same thing. I will go to the first scheduled one.

Wow, what awesome drives!!! Looking forward to the next one and getting some pics of all the cars, they look great together, especially in napa with the red and blue!!!

 

I'd love to take on one of those drives! So do you guys think we should push the D and B get together the weekend after instead? How about June 19th? instead?

 

Looking at that Crystal Guard thread stuff it sounds pretty interesting actually.

 

I think I did see some of those rides listed, but could never make them and then I didn't see one for a while. Thanks for all the responses. I actually got the ride idea from a motorcycle web-site that someone directed me to. It has all sorts of rides, maps and markers, including photos.
