Someone with a CobbAP wanna help me out?

I'm not 100% sure how the CobbAP's really work, but assuming you can reprogram the on board ecu (in stead of piggybacking), Can anyone in the bay area help me get rid of a catless CEL? I'll be getting one this summer most likely; But till then, i'd be nice not having the CEL on.

Ummmmmmmmmm...................wouldn't the AP have to be plugged in the whole time to get rid of the CEL.............unless you plan on leaving the car powered up until Summer, so I doubt you're gonna find any offers.

I don't think it has to be plugged in.
But, it does have to be married to the car.
Don't think you're gonna have any luck OP

The AP does not have to be plugged in to mask the CEl
RX8Soldier is right, the AP marries the car so you can't really borrow one

To the OP, either get a CEL reader/clearer and realize you'll have to use it from time to time.. or save up and get an AP
