If there is time.

We barely knocked out 8 cars in 8 hours in Seattle.

So, 20 cars means -

You get the picture.

Also worth noting -

In Seattle, only 2 of the 8 cars were FI and one evidenced itself as "untunable" immediately (dead CAT).

There are eight FI cars at this SoCal dyno day, not including mine.

Not to mention that I have already posted a dyno of my car.

We will be doing everything possible to ensure that the event is handled as smoothly as possible.

With this many cars, it's the responsibility of each and every single car owner to ensure their vehicle is in top shape. If you have never had your car on a dyno or perhaps never even seen one operate, the car is put under the kinds of stresses not normal for the street.

That being said, problems which might otherwise not be obvious on the street will be very obvious on the dyno. BHR will provide technical (and if need be hands on assistance) as requested within the scope of our ability at the event.

It's worth pointing out prior to the event:

1. If you're due for an oil change have it completed by the event.
2. Replace common failure parts such as coils, spark plugs and plug wires if needed.
3. Ensure you have no leaks and replace any other fluids as necessary.

Being able to get you on the dyno, tuned and off the dyno with no problems will be what will make or break our event. Either way, we're all there to have fun and help out in the process!

Edit:

Jedi, what's the word on doing a live broadcast of this event on RX8club? If possible, I'd love to do what we did at Sevenstock!

Because his car makes so much power, you have to dyno only half of it at a time.

Perfectly stated Flashwing, thank you!
As far as the webcast: I will have my laptop with me and webcam ready to go. Last time I was at SR MotoCars, Steve allowed me to use his wirless network. If that's not available, my cell phone is capable of tethering high speed internet so we'll be alright. (plus the battery never dies since the phone charges via USB)

good catch!
I will be going first on Saturday to get my car 'out of the way' and then the BHR Team and I are installing the BHR Ignition Kit while you guys are dyno'ing.
Later in the day, it's BACK on the dyno to see what effects that ignition kit has on my car.
People on the forum have been BEGGING for dyno charts of the coils so I figured this would be a perfect way to do before / after testing.

www.weather.com is looking better and better. Hopefully the rain shows up today and is gone by friday morning. They're only predicting 10% chance of rain right now for Saturday. ***crossing fingers***

Ask Charles Hill if he can get an AEM before then.

I can make the GReddy intake work.

It just sucks and ruins your drivability and fuel consumption.
Plus, I'll have to tune the power down to keep it safe.
