It's back and confirmed for April. The roads have been repaired and cleaned from '05's weather. Start making plans

this sounds like a great idea, are there pictures from past events? that sure is a lot of driving (gas $$$) in one day but to cruse with 30-40 car at once will sure be fun.

Oh, I'd heard about this cruise a while back.

Sounds like a BLAST!! I make the drive from OC to San Luis Obispo all the time (brother lives in SLO) so definitely count me in.

I don't have any personally but a quick search in the west section of the 7 forum should bring some great results. Our first year out we had over 40 cars on the run

just a random thought... i think it would look cool and make for nice photos if the cruise formation is somehow organized by color...

I will be heading out from Long Beach. So if any OC RX8's want meet and we can caravan up, that would be cool.

Unfortunately not. There will be a caravan from Griffith Park to Thousand Oaks. I'll be there to head that up and the remainder of the cruise. Folks are more than welcome to arrange a meet point in OC and caravan to Griffith Park or Thousand Oaks. I'll leave it up to you all. Use this thread to set it up BUT set a meet point/time and keep it. Let's try and avoid confusing people
See socalrxclub.org for further details (time etc.)

^^ Where abouts in OC are you?
(I'm trying to get a small OC caravan organized)

No address found but maybe this will help:
Thousand Oaks Transit Center / Park & Ride rally point
101 Fwy - exit at Rancho Rd – Lot is south of the 23 & 101
interchange. Enter one street south of the lot itself then west to the main lot entrance.

As L.C. mentioned, all of the folks from L.A. and OC can meet us at Griffith Park at 7:00am sharp for the drive down to the Thousand Oaks Transit Center / Park & Ride rally point.

Here is a map of the Griffith Park Meet Point (5-frwy & 134-frwys meet):

Lesper of course there mountains and scenery, but when you're driving there isn't much time to take pictures. The drive is actually quite scenic and picturesque. Take a look at the video link I posted and read what others have said of previous years runs in the other link I posted.

Btw, maybe you can bring a passenger this year to photo or video the whole trip for future enjoyment!!!!

Lesper,
I had a DV cam and a camera on the last cruise. Had way more than enough media to cover the cruise... but I took only 3 pics all together. It was too much fun and I was tooo busy DRIVING!
