The real question is: does he even track??

i mean, his car looks like it's prepped for some serious track time but iirc, i don't remember ever seeing pic's of his car in race trim could it be all just for show?? if so...that's a waste imo...

reason being...all that money spent on switching to cf instead of fiberglass and aliminum and all that money spent on buying those canards to increase downforce would be for nothing...

Jedi: yeah man, that guy was at mazfest last year...he also mentioned djcharlee who's in san diego. both of them don't post much in the 8forums but they're pretty active on the mocc and some local forum that some of them made up.

is twinkie going to run at Mazfest?
did that guy fix his car YET? it's been F'd up since LAST years' dyno day.
he needs to figure out what is causing that hiccup at 6-7k and address it soon because the he's going to need an entirely different map for his AP.

Jeff added something like 25% MORE fuel into that part of his table to compensate because the car was leaning out like crazy
ie; he fixed the issue, now he's going to be pig rich in a spot where he should be making tons of power.

well....the Mazdapseed F Strut bar really helps a lot during hard braking, it helps the brake don't fade away after hard braking many time in a short period ( which could only happens on track or cayon runs),
and it won't be a problem without it. Is just helps yr brake getting better

I prefer buying the Mazdaspeed strut bar if you are buying other brand, why not save a bit more $ and get the best one? but at a good price tho^^

yeah tell me about it. i told him to get some practice laps done soon and see how he fairs.

what's kinda funny is that - in that guy's (mikesgray0) case - i think he needs a more aggressive wheel setup. Those tucked wheels arent doing much for him...

...this coming from the wheel junkie of course

philip: you saw the wheels he put on his car.
They're nice but not very 'agressive' looking to match the rest of his car. (the offset / style)

for a street car I agree

he should have just deleted the clear corners tbh they are the only white things on the car

something isn't adding up with this...

track ready body but not track ready wheels??

those sizes and specs on his wheels aren't matching up too.....the 006 do come in some good sizes...but i don't think i remember them coming in those specific sizes...20x10 +35 doesn't sound familiar at all. I'm not calling shenanigans on those existing but unless he's rolled down to a penny thickness on the rears or cambered to where i can't see it OR if he's slightly flared - i don't see how he can fit 20x10 +35 w/275's.

he does have little flap things on the rear fenders

looks like it might be lining up pretty close inside there. not much camber though

yeah, that's what i was saying. He'd have to be shaved down to a penny's thickness on the rear quarter panel in order to fit 275's.

that guy is cracking me up because he posts random things but one post at a time.

it's like he's talking to himself or has a very bad case of A.D.D.

Atilla: we'll have to investigate this once he shows up to a meet. He said he met Charlee at Mazfest last year so maybe he'll show up to show the 8 and track his FC.
if not, I"m sure he'll show up at a local meet soon.
