Chase: just saw your post in that F/S thread. I wouldn't buy that MS bar, not at that price and not from someone who has never posted before and has no pictures.
Those are under $250 brand new.

yeah, i'm not a fan of his car but i do respect the fact that he went all out on it.


I'm more a fan of simple n' clean. I don't feel the need to stand out in a crowd but i do like subtle differences that separate me from the majority. Like instead of OEM mirrors, i would prefer the RE mirrors. Instead of the huge apr wing, i would rather have the autoexe euro style trunk etc etc.

I do think his car could go without those glow in the dark lining things...

i wonder if he'll track at mazfest if so....twinx might have something to say about that...

 

I don't buy it, even for moderately aggressive canyon driving show me someone who wrecked their 8 because the master cylinder was bouncing a few mills

chase: the ms bar is a good buy if that's what you wanna buy it for but as jedi said, i think there are better prices out there...js

but i also agree with matt regarding the brake lines. You could spend that money else where. The oem lines are fine for daily and occational canyon use. Basically if your car doesn't see track temps every other weekend then you're not going to see your money's worth.

you can spend that money on upgraded rotors, brake pads or an afe ss if you don't already have one...

 

Chase: just wondering - why don't you just buy mike's strut bar?? it's less than half the price of the ms. It doesn't provide the brace bracket but how often do you plan on driving the car aggressively??
