Anybody familiar with how long a repo stays on your credit?? From what i remember it was approx 7 years - but now i'm just hearing that a new company picks up the debt collections and the cycle just starts over...

anybody know?? Forgive my ignorance.

I wouldn't necessarily go as far as saying I trust ya.....it's the interwebz after all and not knowing someone personally to "trust" them fully is a wee naive. So far I think you have good character or otherwise I wouldn't of proposed this. Yet I would of bought it and had it shipped to me had we done this and waited till you paid it off to ship it to you. That way if someone was a "shady" character and didn't pay it, I still had it to sell for my money back, or profit
