whats wrong with replicas!?
sometimes you can't afford the real things. you gotta pay to play.

anyways tilt there is another method besides drilling a hole to fix the fishtail mod....
all you gotta do is pop off your light take of the gasket, wash it it warm water.
let it get nice and dry get some window window/glass sealer all around the gasket...let it get nice and dry and then pop it back on.

i did it and i haven't gotten water in my taillight since.

Hehe, I was just screwing with him, I've always said replica parts have their time and place. Hell, 99% of hoods are replicas...

Woah, I didn't know the light wasn't sealed, that sounds easy!

haha
yeaah it was. i rushed mine so i get mist in mine...let the sealant really dry and check to make sure theres no gaps, but its an easy fix and better than paying $50 or for a new gasket.

Well, the car is under warranty so that would be entirely free but I'd rather push out some cash and pick up sealant than take my car to the stealership

So what method is used to get water out aside from drilling a hole? That's the only way I've read but I haven't researched it much TBH
take the light bulb out

drain the water

install new gasket or just leave it alone and drain it again when it fills up.
