havent purchased anything yet..i was really close to getting a g35 sedan, but i backed out and early next month going a different path for now..im going to trade in the colorado pickup truck for a full size 4 door truck..im looking at a dodge ram (my money spending habits im trying to put on a hold other than the rx8..i would rather focus that income more towards investments this year instead of another aftermarket money pit towards a sedan)

Matt:

Honest Opinion - Perhaps bettering yourself isn't what is truly needed - but rather understanding yourself and what you have accomplished. If you don't know what you've done, then you won't know what to be proud of. If a builder never looks back at what he's built then he'll never know what he's done - ya know? Be proud of who you are by knowing who you are. Most people always say that they do but when questioned - 'what have you done with your life?' people usually state 5 things at the most then draw a blank. Not saying that you would fall into this category, but from what i've seen (yes, i've been watching) there's a lot to your story. Anyways, just an honest opinion...see next statement

Once you find happiness for yourself everything else will follow. Figuring out what happiness is, is the hard part however. But a positive attitude goes a long way.

Oh, and I spent 10 years letting my ex-wife dictate everything to me all the while I letting her do whatever she wanted, it will never happen again. If you are giving something up that you love when you don't think you should give it up then the relationship is destined for failure.

I never understood the whole, "gotta get a family car" justification. I have two kids, no issues in the 8.

rofl, I'm gonna go searching for that tonight

no honestly it's not a huge deal and my problem is that I tend to make decisions (financial, relationship-wise, spiritual? etc) that I know are going to be detrimental to my own well being but I have been so spoiled up until a couple years ago by my upbringing that my attitude has been "well **** it lets see what happens" well guess what happens lol.

yeah enough of that
