Okay I got to the body shop at 3:30. When I walked in I seen my bumper and lip baking in the sun. The car was in the oven and they refinished my Hood like they said they would. car needs to bake in the sun for one more day along with the hood. New rim and tire come tomorrow and I should be able to pick it up Friday or even thursday. YAY!!

 

Yeah the Nismo wheels are pretty cool looking

damn nikko that sucks, turns out i got more money this year than i did last year, not only that my unemployment check was super fat today, twice as much as it was last week

 

yeah the first check is always one week of work cause they withhold the first week, then after that its the normal 2 week checks

 

From what i seen the paint job came out really good but I wont know for sure till the car is back together.

 

just remember to not wax the new paint for a while just non abrasive soapy water

Hey but check this. They used my old lip cuz you can see the scratch marks on the bottom. But on my quote sheet they added a new lip. Should I say anything?

Jedi, the lip is perfect except the little scraps on the bottom but nothing major wrong. They refinished my Hood cuz it was looking dull d they said they find a way to do it feee. They even got me a new rim cuz it had curb rash but they said it was from the accident on the quote. I have the quote paper if you'd like to take a look at it. I can tax it to you if you like?

 

when they said they'd "find a way to do it", billing the insurance company for a lip that they didn't order is how they were able to fix your hood.
I probably wouldn't say anything as long as the work looks good.

did they clear coat the hood?

 

Yeah cleaned it up and clear coat. Looks brand new. Looks good bro I have no complaints at all except it took forever. Plus the lip was never damaged only bumper.

 

Yeah the place I went to. Gave my hood a new clear coat. It was sweet like new.
