it's pretty much the same stuff but seafoam is a liquid that you can easily pour, the Zoom Zoom cleaner comes in a can that you spray.

couldn't sleep much, been up for hours.
leaving the house now to head to Tim's place for a little modd'ing. He' got new goodies from BHR that we're installing, going to compression test his engine, and then do a little work on my car.

hmm, never seen the spray can of seafoam.

anyways my mpg has been terrible as of late...

i just don't like the procedure and all the revving it involves. i don't think my neighbors will be too happy.

nikk: I think pouring the seafoam into the spark plug holes is probably the most efficient but I used the ZOOM zoom cleaner through the valve nipples and it worked well.

seafoam = more smoke though.

I post a pic of the seafoam spraycan Its cool. You can spray the rotors but with out killing your car battery by cranking the hell out of it. Just turn the alt belt

1) Dude, Clean your maf!

2) I dont rev it I let my 8 idle. Then when the smoke kinda dies down I take her for a spin

Ok, so today I drove to carlsbad (my dad's house) and my mpg was pretty shitty. I bought some maf cleaner from pep boys and cleaned out my maf really well. I drove back and used half the gas I used to get there. +1 for maf cleaning. However. I had a solid cel light before from the midpipe, Once I cleaned the maf and put it on while driving back the cel light flashed then turned solid again. What does that mean?

it means you should get the CEL code pulled.
