You know....I've always wondered what smokers would do in stressful situations if cigarettes and other smokeable things weren't ever created/discovered....would they just handle stress like normal people? or would they be grouchy 24/7? oh the questions and how they build up...

yes, but could they handle stress the way others do? or would they still find a need for an outlet for said stress?

6 times ehy? that's not bad...I had a dream about it once....then I woke up with the taste of nicotine in my mouth and had to brush my teeth like 3 or 4 times in a row...so gross...

Yeah, I think I remember the night before that dream I kissed a guy right after he smoked....Hated it when i woke up...but it was weird, I could feel the addiction starting from that dream, like I needed something to support me...

needless to say i had to dance that creepy feeling off, and I've been adverse to cigs just like normal since then...

weed...tsk tsk, does weed actually have any longterm bad side affects?

longterm.... Not that I know of. I only do it to relax. It has no nicotine so you can't get addicted. It's all in your brain weather your addicted or not.

Mike: I heard if you put ice in the bong the smoke cools and doesn't itch your throat and give you attacts.

BTW, People don't usually START smoking because of stress, and it actually CAUSES them grow into a more stressed personality..

So they'd be fine if smoking was never "invented".

However, it's just the addictive ingredients in cigs that makes people grouchy/cancerous..

Tobacco on its own isn't too bad..

I often pose good questions...that never get answered lol

and yeah, I'm not normally a person that likes substances that affect people...too many bad things have come out of it in my family...so I'd just rather avoid the natural heightened chances of cancer and liver problems

Tubing, I can see now why rory gets so grouchy when he's with me, he stops smoking when he visits cause he knows it bugs me...maybe i should be more understanding....

anyways guys I gotta roll outta her, I'll talk to you all again! Maybe later, maybe not, depends on what my friend has planned for us tonight lol

*hugs* <3 hope you all have a great weekend if I can't make it back on!

He should just quit, only causes issues..

Both of my parents smoke, its easy to quit while you're young, but when you're older, you get screwed over and the **** is so deep into your lungs/bloodstream it makes it very difficult..

I tried the whole 'smoking' thing when I was in HS, that lasted all of a couple of packs and then it got boring. I never really understood it, it's not like I craved it or it made me feel relaxed, I mainly did it becaues the girl I was dating was a casual smoker so I gave it a shot.

The odd thing is I don't like the smell of cigarette smoke but when I was smoking, I didn't really smell it.

No weed for me, never was interested.

I am however known to enjoy a good cigar from time to time. I've got a Humidor at home with some good stuff in it for special ocassions or if I'm having a drink and just feel like lighting one up with a friend. (no smoking inside my house though, that's completely forbidden)

tubing: it's weird because I was having that conversation with my dad this past weekend. He smoked a few packs a day when he was younger but when he started having kids he gave it up cold Turkey.

Here's what I don't get:
back in the 50's and 60's the effects of cigarette smoking wasn't very well known / documented so I can understand why our parents smoked but these days?! I'm sorry but you've got to be a freaking RETARD to start smoking in today's day and age because you KNOW what's going to happen. No mystery about cancer or addiction anymore, it's all out there.
I'm not bashing cigarette smokers, I have friends who smoke but I DON'T GET IT.
