I want to change the front bumper on my S2 to a good after market but I can't seem to find many online and it doesn't seem like many shops carry parts for the 8. Does anyone recommend anyone local that can purchase/carry parts?

we can order any bumper an install it if needed. You dont find many kits because fitment is a huge issue. Only a few that actually fit without lots of trimming and mods.

one of the most active meets was the one in Cerritos hosted by SCAR (SoCal All Rotary), that meet went on for YEARS and was quite fun. Unfortunately SCAR dissolved at the end of the year but the main guy behind it started up a new meet at the same spot.
