Hey guys long time no see. Well it was bound to happen but the 8 finally kicked the bucket at 93,700 miles. I know I'm going to need a new engine and a few other things. Also need new fuel pump, clutch and clutch bracketncuz mine decided to crack again. If someone can give me a range at what I'm looking at money wise and if someone can recommend someone to do the job that will be great. Hope you all had fun in Vegas this weekend. Been to long since I've been to whiv meet.

Hey! I've heard a lot of good things about Neptune Speed here in Huntington Beach. It's a bit of a ways from Upland, but from what I've heard they do great work which might justify the trip.

Luis, a great mechanic went to a Rotary shop off the 605 and 10.

I think it's Lucky Racing.

Does anyone know of a good Rotary shop in the Torrance / Redondo Beach area.
My car is having some mechanical/power issues and I want to get someone experienced in rotaries to have a look at it.
Thanks,
Dan

Lucky 7 Racing in Duarte is where I had my engine replaced. The reman core from MAZDA was $1,500 back in 2013. The labor is what cost me more totalling close to $4,200. I know a guy who builds rotary and installs it all at his home in Monterey Park, right next to East L.A. College.

i bought a reman and replaced my own, it helped that i had experience replacing other engines tho.
after the core deposit out pocket for the engine was about 3500.

Any tuner shop can do it. Just make sure you have someone do alignment after. Where are you located?

Thanks for replying. I am at alhambra area. Just read some posts about pre load or so. Since I have no idea about suspension, I would like to find a honest shop do the right job I can go 50 miles for that no problem, haha.

West End in Gardena or Evasive Motorsport in Santa Fe Spring. if you have coilovers those are your choices.

West End is an awesome shop for any suspension / alignment needs.
I'd recommend them as well.

Hi everyone! I know it's been some time since I last posted anything. I would like to start working on this thread again, update the meets section, and possibly delete the members section since it's people have either got rid of their cars or moved onto other things.
