this thread used to be pretty lively unfortunately many have branched off in different directions.

on the upside tho, this forum does have a lot to offer as far as information. Lots of money and frustration can be saved by simply searching for what you want to know.

Yup! Im learning alot for what to get and what not to get for my rx8, Mods i have done so far is that i have konig rims which are decent but they are orginally for subaru and tc's i converted them and they it pretty wide, i do notice better traction and my steering wheel is alot harder and more responsive

and im hoping to lower my car soon with megan racings!

So we hit the canyon hard it was fun we dove very safe and paid close attention to others and road conditions. We have seen first hand the causes of driving like an *** hat in that area.. The cars drove well. The RX8 handled great i was very happy.. I had Little brake fade.. My WRX brakes fade very fast there and I was glad to see the RX8 with no issues... We took a little brake to let the cars cool a bit and my rear brakes where Smoking..

Size: 103.9 KB lol.. quite hot.. got to change those out.. (stock) im open to suggestions on brakes..lol.. I know the stock Mazda ones are quite good.

All in all we had a safe grate day... Cars handled very well the BRZ was very nimble in the turns but on the more straights the RX8 was notably faster.. In the corners it was about the same, I was on him but if I let him get away in the turns he would loose me fast. The RX8 handled like a dream the BRZ would brake loose easy not so much for the RX8. Granted, the RX8 has more mods..

Oh yes. our friend, He had an 80's something BMW that had bad suspension parts and tires. He did not pay attention to the road his car or conditions and ended up here...

Thank god he ended up with just little more than a scratch but 3 years later his car is still there.. haha we stopped to chuck rocks at it for a bit..

Canyon runs are always fun, glad you guys thought about safety. A friend of mine recently fell off a cliff side on gmr in his miata. The whole car was mangled except for the roll cage which definitely saved his life.

they are very easy, you just need one other person to help hold things while lining up.
a drill with the correct bit size and a small tool set is all that is needed.

i put my ms wing on about 7 1/2 years ago with the help of a friend.
