- Inquired with Wheel Flip about the rims and dropped off the deposit for the barrels to be ordered at WheelFlip HQ after they came back from FD Vegas. Also had them look at the car and the SSRs currently on them to determine what lip size/offset would be appropriate.

-Decided on 19x10 +18 (I think). They were very helpful and excited as we were.

-Mentioned "SEVENSTOCK 14" and Date of Event, was told they will be ready in 2-3 weeks TOPS. "Way before Sevenstock" or "Yeah, you'll have them by then"

Monday September 5th, 2011
- Dropped off the SSRs @ WheelFlip,

Wednesday September 14th, 2011
- Texted WheelFlip about an update on the wheels. WheelFlip called back and said The Faces are taking a bit longer than usual to be Black Chromed.

Friday September 23rd, 2011 (+/-)
- Call WheelFlip, they said to call on Tuesday Sept. 27 and they might be close to ready, but I hold off because of my busy work schedule and instead give them till Saturday Oct. 1.

Saturday October 1st, 2011
- Give WheelFlip a call, no answer, send a text. WheelFlip calls back Right Away. WheelFlip told me that there was a bit of a problem with the faces, and that the SSRs were Over Chromed on the edges and didnt sit right in the barrels. Said it would be a quick fix. WheelFlip says to give them a call on Monday Oct. 3rd and that the SSRs will be ready that same afternoon but late. Was told to give them a call in the morning on the 3rd to be sure.

Monday October 3rd - 6th, 2011
- WheelFlip Posts pictures of the Black Chromed Faces on their FB & Website with the captions of "Someone is going to be a happy camper today" .

- Give WheelFlip early morning. Said they will be ready around 2 p.m. or so for pick-up. Awesome!

- So I schedule Fender Rolling/Pulling with some guy off a BMW forum for around 2 p.m. in Granada Hills. Give WheelFlip a call back, let them know I might be in a lil later because of the fender rolling/pulling. They said its okay but that the Wheels might be ready until late, late that afternoon.

- Call back and tell WheelFlip that the Fender Pulling/Rolling was almost complete (around 4 p.m. ish). Was told that it wouldn't be a good idea to mount tires because we need to let the silicone seal for a minimum of 12 hours.

- Thats fine, Im already halfway to WheelFlip in Granada Hills so I still insist on picking them up that same evening because I did not want to waste another day in traffic. WheelFlip strongly isists on just waiting till another day. I told them the only other day/time I have available is the next day, Tuesay Oct. 4th Morning. WheelFlip says to give them a call in the monring on Tues.

Tuesday October 4th, 2011
- Give WheelFlip a call like they said to do so the previous evening and we came to the conclusion that they arent going to be ready until like Friday Oct. 7th. SMH

Saturday October 8th, 2011
- Give WheelFlip a call, they answer and say that the barrels ended up being drilled wrong by the machine shop they use. New Barrels are being RUSHED (supposedly). They said it'd only be a couple of days to get them in.

Thursday October 13th, 2011
- Give WheelFlip a call, and was told that the Barrels are still NOT IN. WheelFlip tells me to call tomorrow Oct. 14th.

Friday October 14th, 2011
- Give WheelFlip a call, different contact answers. Ask him if he knew if the barrels were in and the contact says no, that they are still being made??? Asked them to have my contact call me back ASAP to discuss whats going on....

(KEEP IN MIND that these are only the Wheels Outter Lips that are being replaced)

- At this point, what was suppose to be a 2-3 week job is PAST DUE, growing impatiently. SEVENSTOCK is getting closer and after a Month and a half (AUG 28th ... 5 weeks) still NO WHEELS. Sevenstock is getting closer and they might still be able to pull it off as far as getting the wheels done before then, but by the way things have been going Im starting to think the wheels are cursed, WheelFlip needs to find new business partners or talk to them and let them know how not being able to deliver their product when they tell a customer because of their Errors is affecting WheelFlip's business, customers, and possibly have a negative impact on their reputation as a new Small Company, with A REALLY GREAT IDEA, BUSINESS PLAN, WEBSITE, ONLINE WHEEL TRADER, and a HUGE TARGET AUDIENCE.

but we'll see what happens. I'm not trying to be negative or bash WheelFlip, but if you read the whole situation, I think if you were in the same position, you'd be just as Frustrated with being promised a pick-up date, after date, after date. But I have Faith, and am somewhat Happy to be apart of a growing business that has a bright and successful future!

damn man sucks about the waiting game..this is how good people/a good business get a bad perception..vendors that they rely on dont come through. good luck on getting the wheels on time..sounds like a killer setup in the works...what was the original offset?

Yeah, things can be difficult when you rely on others' for work. With this sort of thing, knowing the right people and places to go allow magic to happen but if one thing goes wrong, it can set off a chain of events. I can't speak for exactly what happened in this case, but I have personally dealt with this sort of chain of work many times and it can go from a perfect/quick timeline to complicated easily.

The wheels will be ready for Sevenstock

Yeah, I understand they are a new young business so ill give them their chance. I agreet thay they do need to start working with vendors that come through, youre right. I actually spoke with them today and I just wanted them to understand that I need the wheels by SEVENSTOCK, and they promise before SS14 for sure so if they come through, all will be good. From people on different forums, including the guy who rolled the fenders said WheelFlip is real good, so we shall see I'm sure the finished product will be nothing short of amazing. I'm not too sure of the before/after offsets. I know there is still the thread I bought it from, 19x8.5 ...so now they will provably be the same offset but 19x10, so another 1.5" of lip.

I'm pretty sure they are being built to 19x10 ET20, or something around there.

If they stay the same offset as before and grow by 1.5" in width, the lips will be .75" larger.

Yeah, I am sure they appreciate the patience. If you are ever wary of anything, feel free to contact me to help out. I'm confident these guys will come through for you before the 29th
