Rev: what are you doin' this saturday? me n' john are going to try n' tear down my car n' see what the problem might be.

After we figured out it had something to do with the amp we disconnected it but for the life of me i couldn't remember where we grounded it. I'll probably try n' do it myself today or tomorrow and take apart my trunk to find the ground...i hope that once i get that taken care of i can at least turn my radio on w/out it blowing out another fuse.

i'm probably going to need your help

 

the ground wont be hard to find once you take the carpet out of the trunk

tbh im not great with diagnosing electronics problems but ill try to come by for help n fun

u got ur car back then paris new bumper and all?

 

right on the amp...it looks like it got into the connections to the amp....john n' i disconnected all the wires n' used electrical tape to tape the ends...but some of the areas that were spliced got wet too so we had to cut them because it kept blowing the fuse...

i'll try n' disconnect the ground n' try another fuse to see if it'll work...if this doesn't work i don't know what else to do other than to take out the entire HU n' troubleshoot all of it...

i'm def likin' the new look. The shop even let me keep my old burnout front lip...i just need to find another oem front end so i can have two different looks lol.
