i read a thread on zilvia and it sounds like tees usa outsourced the bride manufacturing plant to China. in reality i do not even know if you can buy "Japan made" bride seats

of course this is just some dude on zilvia, i dont know about any of the users over there and if they have serious credibility or not

Speaking of seats, I just got quoted $1200.00 for redoing all the seats in my 8 withany material I please. I am pondering using Bride material but I may check go with a nice black cloth fabric.

Rev what you read is probably some seats that people have been buying for cheap that are under the BRIDE name. A company in Taiwan trademarked the name "BRIDE of Taiwan" and are making seats. SO technically they are not fakes but are not the real BRIDE of Japan stuff. Since we are getting it directly from Tees USA then they are made in Japan.
The Taiwan company has no affiliation with the Japan one.

did you read through the Bimmer thread? They are saying there that its a different company.

 

yeh i understand that bride japan =/= bride taiwan

but Tees usa is supposed to distribute the Japan Bride seats in the us. there is a possibility that they are no longer sourcing from bride japan and are building seats in china.

 

Ill check with them either way to see whether it is true or not.

 

haha im not trying to be difficult or make it a big deal, if they get them from tees they will be as authentic as you can get in the states.

i think it is kind of curious, they will most likely tell you they are japan seats.

i do not think vip would sell straight up bride taiwan seats for the price of japans
