atilla: I saw that zumn came through, that's awesome. Now when I see Matt's car in person, I can look for a million things wrong with it.
Sephy:
ryan's battery is dying? Original? Time to head to auto zone or Costco, both usually have good deals.
Adam's catback dissolved?! WTF!
Matt's lei is quite distracting, I'm sure his scarves feel like they've been cheated on.
Some guy YELLED at you for not sleeping with him? ummm... much to learn he has.

No, but seriously....what REALLY happened?
actually a lot and I can not remember all of it.
yes my JIC ti catback blew apart
after installing my straight pipe, showing some friends the flames, herd a loud pop and broke a weld on the canister. That weld has been rewelded to many times before, as you can only reweld titanium once...

+1 w/rev
it's been slow - rev getting his bumper was probably the most notable thing this past week.
me n' dozer met up this past weekend n' worked on a local member's car who's been a lurker for years. I also managed to install that racing beat intake n' air duct
my car sounds way more quiet but definitely feels better thru the rpm range. I really think the turbulent airflow was messing with my powerband

atilla: I can damn near guarantee you that turbulant airflow was messin' things up and driving your poor MAF insane.
what kinnda work did you guys do on that person's car? Are they going to keep lurking or come out of the woods and start posting some more?

jedi: yeah, we cleaned my maf sensor too just in case. btw, i learned that installing that intake was a pain in the ***! The duct was probably the worst. I completely forgot how many stupid screws there were at the bottom of the damn bumper
i almost said "**** it" n' yanked them off.
on the upside tho - the car feels a lot smoother now
we just replaced spark plugs n' wires. we were going to replace coils but they looked fine
One of his trailing spark plugs was toast tho.
Matt: don't hate.

yeah jedi, I am getting it from Jess. She bought a AAM prototype catback from a member here a while back. But her current situation on getting a 8 doesnt seem to be the best. So she nicely agreed to sell it to me since Im itching to get my 8 back on the road.
AAM is a custom tuner shop in gathersburg, MD called Altered Atomsphere.

yeah, that duct isn't much fun to install. Not a hard install by any means, just tedious thanks to all the damn screws and trying to squeeze it behidn the crash bar, etc.
I always forgte which screws to loosen at the bottom and before I realize it, I've got half the undercarriage disassembled from the appearance pkg.
did you guys test the coils with a multi- meter or just inspected them visually?

once I get the aam catback on, I need to reinstall my cat and go to the dealer. I am having power loss issue in 3rd
.
I replaced the coils/plugs/wires and also installed a straight pipe didnt seem to help that much..

jedi: to tell you the truth, i have no idea about the condition of the coils. When i got there they were already installing the new spark plugs. Dozer just told me that the coils were fine (i'm assuming they were visually checked)
His car seemed much better tho. We were checkin' for the misfires he was having and it looked like it was gone. His idle seemed smooth n' it looked like his power returned back to normal.

ShinkaTeen: I would totally let you borrow my OEM intake but the last time I let a forum member borrow it, I was supposed to get it back in 30 days.
