Sorry to say man but if its for reliability and gas mileage you might as well get a civic or something to hold you down for a while.

...or just turbo and build a Miata...you can do it all for about 6-7k....and thats including the car

 

i was thinking of a miata its the runner up,
my friend sold his s13 for 7k bought a 240z for 5 flipped it for 6500

and just picked up a 1st gen miata for 1700 and hes gonna build it to be a track beast cant wait his cars never dissapoint

 

then again my head stuck over the winshield on amirs miata at chm so even with lowmax rails on my bucket i doubt ill fit comfortably

 

ya thats one of the first car I calculated the costs on.....the car, Turbo, wheels, seats, suspension, other bolt ons, and misc....all for under 7k
