BTW, as an FYI to those that wonder.

255/40's on 18x8.5 +35 wheels look really nice. Slight rub but nothing major on a .8 drop.

I am now...

the shop that louie took me to didn't have a full set of 245/40's so i went with 255/40's.

Gotta say, i kinda like the look. Doesn't bubble out like i thought it would (probably because of the lip on my rims) and it fills the gap between the wheel n' the fender a lot better.

I'm just using this setup until i get my new rims then i'm gonna buy all new tires...

how quickly are you going to mount tires on them and put them on your car?
I only ask since you just bought tires this past weekend.

OOhhh - i didn't get to buy the 275's either this weekend because he only had a pair.

I know of another shop that can get me 275's but i didn't get it this past weekend because the shop is out in LA. I hope the wheels are ready before this friday because i'm gonna be outta town for the memorial day weekend.

If they do get here some time this week i'll probably have them on by the 4th of June (my next payday)


p.s. - the wait is seriously killin' me. I keep looking at Angeljoel and vlaze's car...

You should see it now lowered more, think hellaflush. Fronts poke out ever so slightly and rears were perfect for the fender, can hardly even get a finger between the tire and fender. Still gotta adjust the height back up a little in the rear; the new Stance coils got worked in and I lost 1/4" and it rubs on the bumper liner over dips in the road, quite loudly Got some more to grind off tonight and finishing (I hope) any more height adjustments.

Thing is starting to be a PITA with adjusting the height over, and over, and over especially for the rears to get it right.
