Fate, theoretically you can do 295's but it will not be fun. The bulge will make the tires really hard to fit, if you were 10mm higher offset it would be closer. IIRC I was considering 18x10.5 +32 for 295 or even 305's but then I slapped myself and woke up when I started considering tire costs.
265 is more than enough rubber for a good amount of HP, how much were you expecting.
If you wouldn't mind, post some fitment pics of your 18x10 +25 so Roger can see what he would be getting himself into with 18x10 +15

I'll have to take some pics, or you can look in the aggressive thread and I have some more pics.
Power I'll be getting into the 550rwhp(daily) to 750rwhp(race gas) area.

For the rears at a 2" drop I had to roll and I'm at -3.5* camber. The front I haven't touched at -3* camber. I'm wanting to bring the front up to -2.5* and bring the rear to -2.75* or so.
At that point, I'd just pick up another set of wheels or perhaps just rear wheels that are higher offset but wider to put more rubber down.
I will probably leave the 255s on till they wear out, try a set of used 295/30s and if they don't fit how I want, I'll sell the wheels and go with something else.
My buddy has a 400 *soon to be 440* awhp wrx and that is more than enough, I can't imagine such high numbers. It would be too much for me, starts to enter realm of dyno queen, but that's because I can't see any solid application of 750rwhp aside from drag racing.
If I ever do go FI I'll be aiming for about 320-ish, grnted FI and motor swap are entirely different.
Oh and by the way, welcome to the socal lounge!

Yes. I can pick up a 2jz complete swap with auto for about $1200. Then its just down to parting out all the **** I don't need, sending the auto to MVP to get built and get their 3800 stall converter, order my Precision 6768 turbo and manifold, build a fuel system, and tune tune tune.
I'd like to shoot for Sevenstock as a completion date, but I know there is no way I can do that with what I'm currently bringing in per month. I'm hoping to have everything, and I mean everything ready to go sometime after Sevenstock(we're talking installing new cams/valvetrain, big turbo, big fuel setup, aem gen 2, built auto, 3800 converter, TT Auto LSD Diff).
There is alot I need to get and start collecting parts before I even start taking all the other stuff out.
