I also know one of the co-presidents of ProMotion Distributing (I put new wheels on his Jag) and some of the sales guys, they are great ppl to deal with and would make a great place to get your parts from.

The Limited Liability Company (LLC)

A Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a hybrid business entity, designed to combine the advantages of a corporation with the tax advantages of a partnership. Like a corporation, the owners of an LLC are not personally liable for the LLC's debts and obligations. Like a partnership, an LLC can be treated as a pass-through entity for tax purposes. Beginning in 1997 the IRS no longer taxes these entities as corporations. They permit the LLC to elect whether taxation as a partnership, sole-proprietorship or corporation best fits the needs of its business and its Members. This may be advantageous for those who cannot meet the IRS requirements for an "S" corporation and desire the tax pass-through treatment.

Do you know how much money it will take to start a venture like this? Lots, lol.

Alexisthemovie who used to own an 8, and hated it dearly, is doing pretty much what you're describing, just in a different fashion. He's trying to network to make it work, rather than get his license and make it an official business from the get go. Kind of interesting, I'll plug his stuff because I'm pretty sure he reads in here now and then

www.exotericone.com

I've got a limited edition rx8 exoteric shirt, some day may be worth some money :-D

Ironically his site seems to be down, he must not have had teh doh to keep it up. Just goes to show you its a costly venture!
