Giving in to a natural tendancy of mine - i was brainstorming last night...
The spring is already upon us and I have a feeling summer is gonna kick in hard just by looking at the kinda heat we had here for a couple of days...
I was thinking of hosting a couple of meets in the near future for this summer.
Here's some ideas i was thinking about:
-SHOW & SHINE: We all like to show our cars off - don't deny that ****...so why not get together and show off what we've done? I was also thinking that we could easily blow this up by inviting some other car clubs. I remember the SHINE AUTOPROJECT meet that was hosted a while back when all the import car clubs were invited - that **** was ep1c. I was hoping we could possibly host something at least half that size. IMO that would be a hit! -I was thinkin' about talking to Super Autobac's to see if they would do it again - or if need be, i have a car shop that's more than willing (and capable) of handling the capacity -
-Beach Cruise: Completed
-Install Meet: Sure meeting up at a friend's house and wrenching on a couple of cars is cool - but i think it would be a pretty cool thing if we could get more of us together in a bigger area and possibly have some food cooked up while doing so. I have no real details about how it should go down, so i'm always open to suggestions. I'd keep in mind that we're gonna need a location that's convenient for everybody.
-Night Run: This one may be a little tricky to pull off. We all know cops are gonna be our biggest problem - and keeping everybody under control is gonna be the next. I just think it would be interesting to put together a nice little cruise during one of these summer nights - starting some where general then taking it down to a nice restaurant or possibly a nice sushi joint

from fluid its new.. its cheaper than the stealerships though. I am saving right now for it also it will be factory painted so close to 5 bills at this point, I got like 4 saved..
I'm getting it soonish before my trip to Colorado gotta rep the so cal 8's while I'm there.
Also my baby just sprung an oil leak so I'm gonna do the pan seal on Sunday I'm guessing/hoping its that and not the OMP.
If it is a front seal OMP or anything else fender project gets put off again lol.

Show and shine is chill but requires someone talking got shops and putting forth an effort.
Night runs I'm always down for... what you do is let the slow guy go up first make sure its chill then he radios in and your good.
My favorite type of meet is just chillin at the beach or wherever and chatting about cars etc...
Funny story about this tire shop (Tire Metro) - the owner owns a fixed up FD. No-BS kinda guy - true enthusiast though - he dropped out of the 7club because a lot of new people screwed up the community recently so now he's out and about looking for other enthusiasts. When I was there i was talking about the socal beach cruise and he got excited about the idea of hosting a meet - he said he's more than willing to host a meet in his parking lot - the lot size is HUGE. He shares it with an elementary and a church - both of which are empty on saturdays - he said if we ever wanted to hold a meet at his place on a saturday - he would more than welcome it. He said he'd like to see other enthusiasts as well.
Super Autobac's is a relatively small lot - but a lot of people like holding meets there because of the environment (super autobacs = jdm y0) but this lot could easily accomodate everyone

Sounds like a plan. We can drag out the BBQ grill and do an install meet there or something...
THAT'S HOW WE ROLL.....lets do it...im fixing my car right now till i get back from the philippines....banner will be usefull, flags for the club..... some food or cooked in the meet will be fun so kids can go to and other car club.......LET'S do this..........i stand dy your side.......
