I figure it is cheap, looks good, gets decent mpg for my 100 mile commute to work and back, and isn't expensive to upkeep.

haha, well in my search I am not looking to spend more than 5k because I want to start saving for a new 8. Besides, by the time it got here it would have like 53k miles.

You can buy a decent mileage IS300 for about 6k.
