man my 8 is leaking coolant and its not from the bypass

 

 

Coolant overflow, it's too hot and the system is boiling so it needs to go somewhere to release all that pressure. Make sure to check your power steering connection though since the overflow pipe is right on top of it. Be like Jedi and I who extended the overflow pipe.

were does the overflow leak it onto mines leaking a lil below the rad but the rad seems fine

 

hmmm, perhaps i need to do that...

 

Mike: go to your coolant resevoir tank...you'll notice a black silicone hose near the opening...trace that lil' hose...notice where it goes...


then come back here and tell us what you think might've happened

 

i just wanna make sure its not something serious

yeah dude, that was nuts!

but his didn't explode though - i was behind him when it happened. He bottomed out really ******' hard goin north on main street - that's why i'll never ride in the far right lane on main street now...they really need to fix that road


everybody pretty much broke out after that - me and my buddy rome hung out with him til AAA came and towed his ish home...that sucked for him because he just installed that autobahn bumper...

 

Didn't you guys said you see an explosion of water flying everywhere? I was two cars in front so I didn't see it happen.

lesson learned for the day: don't buy tein basics then slam it and do 80 on main street
