Yeah, I noticed... back then I bought my 8 brand new for a whopping $32k out the door.

 

yeah, now you can find one around 15k w/less than 30k miles.

j03: yeah, when they first came out around 2003 they were around 27k - 35k depending on package...

it's been 6 years since it's release and the price has dropped to about half...that in itself is crazy... and not in a good way...

 

The new base model RX-8s starts off at $27k, the R3 at $32.

Depends, I found some on AutoTrader for about 20k....

Then I found some FDs for about 10-15k.... I'm leaning toward the FDs for now.

 

An FD is an investment bro...

and with investments, you gotta burn some cash in order to make some. Or in this case, make it worth it...

 

Don't worry, I want an FD as a project, you know, a weekend kinda car. I have the Camry as my DD.

Joe: as for the price of the 8's. Yeah man, they were expensive when they first came out. I ordered mine straight from Japan (I have friends in the auto business) and it showed up with a sticker price of $38,000!
