yup...one.
Her and I are finally talking after almost 10 years of silence. She finally admitted to saying the reason why she's talking to me is because she's finally forgotten why she 'hated' me.
I told her i haven't forgotten. . .

Can't be that drunk if you've got the piece of mind to correct yourself mid-sentance... while typing. lol
Wouldn't this just mean those who appear strong aren't really when it comes down to it; They would, more so, be shaping their 'beliefs' or views to what seems socially accepted or yearned for, no? If one is truly independent, anothers' beliefs or ideals may rub off but wouldn't really take place of or mold that person's own beliefs.
I somewhat agree on the concept, I think its another way of observing it. IMO it often depends on the persons sense of independence. Some seem to need others to lean on, some seem to be able to make it on their own just fine. Leads down the path of "Any childhood traumas?" and psychological history.

Honestly it's really nice having someone to bounce thoughts off of - I get what you're saying - it seems that the way i originally perseved them is not their true nature, independent. That perhaps it was a 'front' built from observations of others who may have actually been independent.
