* Replace the brake fluid
* Replace the transmission fluid
* Replace the rear diff fluid
Also, manual states to inspect:
* Drive belt
* Fuel lines, hoses and connections
* Cooling system
* Brake line, hoses and connections
* Disk brakes
* Steering operation and linkages
* Front and rear suspension and ball joints
* Driveshaft dust boots
Yes, I still have an RX-8 manual even though I don't have an RX-8.
I wonder what it is, I say you use a code reader to find out.

You don't want an engine fire because of a loose fuel line. Check the dust boots on your driveshaft too, make sure they're not fubared or else.
