I'm not one to talk about family relations so I'll stay out of it. I stopped talking to my entire family about three years ago, I don't bother them and they don't bother me, otherwise I'd be asking for their support since I'm unemployed right now.
The only person I keep in contact with is my grandmother, she thinks I still have a job and I'm doing good in life right now, she's 86 years old, I don't want to disappoint her by telling her that I'm one broke *** ****.
atilla: lemme guess your really honest?? lol. thats a problem i have with my mom. she raised me really well but shes kind of a hypocrite cause she doesnt follow the way she raised me so its wierd. and because of that we argue alot lol.

what formulated a lot of it was that i was raised with old tradition and influenced by new tradition.
The two just don't mix. One is conservative and cautious the other is completely the opposite. My early years were spent trying to combine both but my family had no intention on letting me compromise any of it. It was one or the other and if it's not theirs, i had to hit the road. I listened but they felt otherwise and helped me out...literally.
but eh, live and learn. It just sucks becuase i never know when important **** like this goes down, i just have to hear it through the grapevine.

atilla: sorry to hear that. but "live and learn" is the truth. family like that makes it impossible for other family. but they'll realize is in the end and regret being like that. but hopefully you and yours dont have to reach that point.
