yeah i went to costco and found a cool 37 inch full 1080i one for like 500, i wish i could get 1080p like my living room sony but thats outta my buget

not really that much difference, mines only a 720 and honestly i thinks its perfect, i play my 360 on it and it looks bitchin, i connect my comp and watch movies from it and it still looks bitchin

 

i dont need a bluray just connect my laptop to the tv it has bluray player

the resolutions between 720p and 1080p are only really noticeable when tvs from a certain size..i think anything over 40 inch 1080p would be best anything below wouldn't be too noticeable.

 

I'm with nikko on this one for 1080p you need a huge screen and have to be able to sit kind of far away to get any benefit.

NO you guys are all wrong..the reason you guys dont see a difference in the 1080P vs the 720p is cause you are not using a source thats putting out that kinda picture. An Xbox 360 will only play in 1080i at most and so will cable and satellite. The only thing able to put out a 1080p picture is a blu ray player using an HDMI cable. And that is if the actual movie is that high of quality.

 

yeaah i know this...

but 1080p on a 30inch tv does nothing...

the best way to get the best picture is have a machine that can play in 1080p coming from an hdmi cable...

it does make a difference in a 30" tv. That kinda size tv is used by ppl with pc's or laptops. And in a computer 720 vs 1080 is a huge difference in resolution. As far as cable or anything goes you can only really tell the difference in blu rays
