My track 8 is about 450hp. I can't really track it effectively going over that. I know others have but i'm troubleshooting my own suspension setup.

my drift 8 tho is about the same but the gearing is way retarded. lol. 3rd gear is my magic gear

that's why it's kinda nice being the only crook on my block i don't have to worry about people tryin' to jack the shiestiest person in the neighborhood. lol.


seriously tho, get used to the ghetto check and be prepared to either whoop someone's *** at 2am in the morning or have 911 on speed dial. GLW your situation bro - hope they don't come up on your stuff. Also, from now on, i wouldn't pull into your block either revving or bumpin' music w/your tv's on. Just lay it low when you come into your block to decrease chances.

I think my 8 has about 630 hp. It's a little difficult to drive. Just have to turn the diff down to about 15% on the lock up. Keeps the rear end on the track at least. A lot less wheel spin coming out of the corners.
But if your drifting,, Lock that bitch to 98%.

 

no lie i was coming home from work one night and i honked at some honda that cut me off, thought nothing of it waiting to turn right the car is infront of me and i see a door open so im like **** it i went straight and started smashing instead of turning then i slowed down same car drives by and his my car with a cup i get pissed i tailgait and start writing down the plate then the car stops in the middle of van buren [highway] and 4 gangsters get out with baseball bats i was shiting bricks i busted my car in reverse then launched my car at em at 8o and fled i was scared shitless whats a 17 year old supposed to do when they trying to jack your car

How's the rear suspension set up? Add some toe in in the back. Raise the tire pressure to about 40 and go for it.
Front should be about 34PSI in the tires, 5 on pos. camber and about .4-.5 degrees of toe out.
If I remember correctly.

i originally started with the suggested drift setup but then tweaked the gearing and the power output (only makin' around 300-400hp) and my 86 is the same, i think it might even still be NA (only puttin' out like 150hp) both are slide happy tho

 

yeah i keep all my cars at resonable power my 8 is at 390, my fc is at 290, my ae and fd are stock powertrain wise

Toe settings!! that's exactly what i've been messing with

i was reading it on the forza forums and i'm trying to full understand it's concept. I have the correct camber and psi settings but i was still confused on my toe settings

it's been a love/hate relationship w/my drift 8 setup. I love the entry speed and angle i can get it in, but i'm havin' problems keeping it?? It's killin' me...

i can drift a real car get me a 240 with a welded diff and ill prove it

 

once i get back on live i'm gonna host up the vid i made of my fd drifting. I'm almost able to drift the entire tskuba short track

i just want to be able to successfully drift around laguna seca, but the damn track is too narrow and the corkscrew kills me every time
