I know how you feel Joey, I'm decent and average at so many things, but when it comes down to it, I'm not an expert at anything, I'm not particularly special at any of the things I do. Hell, I started college as an Engineering major and switched to Art...

I feel like I'll never live up to my potential, but I can't figure out what that potential is...

*hugs* I know you'll figure out the answer Joey...I think what it really is, in our eyes we seem average, but to others we're better than average. It's kind of one of those "You're never good enough in your own eyes" thing...which sucks, but it means you're always striving to do your best, just don't let it get in the way of achieving goals, you have to know when enough is enough...

 

No I'm not going to kill them for egging my car. Just rough them up. And I live in apartments so it's not my property, plus it's on a public street

 

IMO, it is better to be average/good at a lot of things versus being great at just a few it makes you more well rounded as a person.

 

just filed a police report, they said unless my car is damaged it's not vandalism. Told me if it happens again to call them. I honestly don't know. I have parking spaces behind my house but it's a bitch to park there and I like the front.

I'm average at everything, which kind of made me turn into a shadow at school...Not a star pupil but not a trouble maker and always dependable to do just well enough. Hell my choir teacher FORGOT to let me tryout for beauty shop because he forgot i was there...

I've always been good on a skateboard and was really good. I was flow(flow: not on the team but represents the companys merchandise.) for a few company's and got free stuff. I was so bent on going pro and push and push myself. I had a really bad fall and blew out my right knee. ever been able to skate the same ever since. Lost my flow status and everything. I know injury came with the sport but some injuries you just can't come back from. the knee still gives me problems like I can't stand for long periods of time, if I skate I can't skate to long or do big things, winter it gets kind stiff from the cold, but I'll never regret skateboarding.

I used to dance to my heart's content...used to play soccer too, but then I hit age 9, the bones grew, the muscles didn't. So I had to give up dance for a while. Meanwhile all doctor's kept saying was that it was "growing pains" oh man that pissed me off. So I tried to pick dancing back up. I would push through the pain and keep going, but...the chest issues started up, so, I kind of get the point, I'm not meant to dance...despite how much I love it...

I still dance, but it's for short bursts, and it always hurts...*hugs* I'm sorry Joey, I wish you could skate just like the old days...it's not fair to you...

Im getting a sick as CAMERA for XMAS... cost my sis around $500 or so when she bought it last year and she said its to big for her to carry around to alll the family events, so she's giving it to me. She was going to give it to me at the THANKSGIVING dinner but i diddnt know if it was just the alcohol talking I should have it in my hands today or tomorrow
