I wanna get the FC before the next drift season starts. My friend has been pushing me to drift but I don't wanna mess up my 8. So he told me if I can get an FC he'll give me his old parts that he has.

all you need a freakin running FC and you're set!
sell all the parts off of your 8, sell it buy a cheaper DD w/ good mpg and then you can have a kick *** FC and cash left over! problem solved!

Yes, MM and I will be there Thursday and part of Friday. So I will deliver everyone's parts for them. All you have to do is find me. Shouldn't be to hard.

I could never sell my baby Nikko. Even though that FC would be sick lol. The FC is just going to be my track car and occasional driver. Its going to way to loud for the street with that exhaust set up trust me.

What midpipe are you using Mr. Dizzle?

Does it turn off when you let go of the key after starting? If it does, it's more than likely the ignition switch is bad. The one you put the key into.
Could be an ignition relay/ fuel pump relay. Look in the fuse box. Swap it with another one in there of like design.

 

The Guy selling this fc says it was rebuilt but for some reason its starting up then turning off, he also said he smells gas but there are no leaks.

If the problem is minor I want to get it. For 1200 its really clean and if I can fix that problem easily I will have no problem buying it. I just don't want to buy a lemon.

Matt I love my 8 to much. Plus I don't want to spend more than 1k on an fc. Its just going to be for drifting so I don't want to spend to much cuz its going to get meat up anyway. I just want to find one before the next drifting season starts.
