ok so i ended up leaving on the exoticspeed pipe and it seems all good, just a bit loud still but i think its because i have a leak between where the pipe connects to header pipe...as well as a small leak between exhaust and mid pipe....i think my buying another flange, that will do the trick but for now im letting it b as im too soar to do anything more=) thanks for all your helps guys and sorry about being so impatient and newbish=) i will post a you-tube on Wednesday prob of it and you can tell me what you think

 

i doubt youll need a new flange did you try sealing it with high temp rtv for the header one itll do the trick

ok dont yell at me for being a noob at this but i dont think i have a catback anymore. i just got the exoticspeed that they sell here:

so basically it has 1 resonator and rest just pipe.

i got some sort of sealant but pep boys didnt have that one in the red bottle but ima still look for that sealant at kragen cuz i have started up the car yet i just let it dry overnight..

i think i still need the flange cuz its weird like at the connection where the 2 springs are i got 1 screw all the way bolted on and the other has about an inch of space betweeen the pipe and i think if i can get rid that space itll be better. cuz now it sounds kinda weird i guess. decent when idle but bad when reving

 

the flanges will never touch by the spring bolt, maybe is sounds funky cause its a midpipe on stock catback?

 

oh and rev i think you want your wheel back and i want that intake so maybe i can go drop it off this week

 

help me to understand catback 101....where exactly is the catback? i was always thought that the catback was the thing i jsut took off lol.

 

o and btw i have a different muffler that im not sure of the brand....got it a few months ago never bothered to check the brand might be sum knock off...jjust sounded good at muffler shop lol

 

You still have a cat back, its the part that attaches to the end of the midpipe and comes out of the rear bumper. Still stock? Any chance to take some pics of the fitment. Mike is correct where it attaches at the spring bolts there is some space.
