I think it should be like golf. When someone hits a hole-in-one, they buy a round for everyone in the bar. I think if a stock NA guy beats someone on the AP w/ mods, the NA guys should buy.
Also, the AP helps, but it's not a fix-all, end-all mod. There are still the small issue of plugs/wires/coils. (Remember the last dyno day?)
I'm prepared this time. By the Saturday, my new plugs/wires/coils will only have about 200 miles on them. I better not come in lower than an NA guy

On the subject of getting the AP to connect to the car w/ a RB Flash, I sent MM an email.
I told him I tried to run the update, but I got an error message.
He said to try and connect it to the car anyways, maybe the update took, though I saw an error on the screen.
Will, I'm guessing it worked, because it connected just fine to the car.
I was able to flash, and run around looking at live data.
Now I'm using the Harrison OBDScan tool to log some info and get it to him before Saturday so he can make adjustments to the maps before then.

 

BTW - Does anyone else feel like they did as a kid when they knew they would be going to Disneyland on the weekend?

Maybe it's just me since I have the AP and new stuff on my car.

PM's have been sent to blueknight and imrtommy. If they can fill the spots, GREAT, if not then the slots will remain OPEN and we'll go with only 18 cars that day. (in other words, we are not taking any more names)

okay just checked with greg, he definitely wants a spot on the dyno. he was on the list originally but got off it because of some issues. he has a 2007 greddy turboed rx-8
