Jedi: Yeah, got the new pads in - didn't get a chance to turn the rotors tho - long story behind that one

Get the rotors turned, or get new rotors...it helps the wear and extend the life of the pads...also remember to "BED" them in correctly until your rotors have a nice blueish/purple colour...
And so the master becomes teh punkass...ha

 

we actually went to like 5 different places to have them turned, but everyone was about to close...

 

definitely BED them in, it's kind of fun to do. My rotors were glowing when I did it.

 

ehh the resurface etc doesn't really matter unless your planning to compete at a track day, I'm just glad that god awful noise is gone.

The worst that's going to happen is your pads will wear down much faster no biggie though.

 

No biggie unless your pads cost an assload and you want to have even brake force distribution...

 

hehe - not in my case then...brake pads = $34 + life time warranty

If i ever decide to track tho - i'm not gonna use these

lulz - yeah, they're cheap - but then again, i'm only using them for around the town usage.

I grew up in East and North side long beach and I wouldn't like to go any where near those areas again - and i don't know laguna beach that well..
