i was the one with the aem. its a good intake. not as loud as hks or k&n. but yea. its for a pretty good price. i got mine for about $260
btw, cleaning the filter isn't that hard. i think it may actually be easier than the revi compared to what keith told us. hahah i jus unscrewed the undertray for the front bumper and squeezed it out of there.

Deeddub, did you post the Db readings somewhere, did I miss it, or have you not yet posted them....?

Hmm...I thought you had the MazdaSpeed one (I understand that AEM = Mazdaspeed however, the sound level appears to be different).

whats interesting was that wing5's car is only 2 decibels quieter than the racing beat catback. And what else is funny is that rotary rasps car is also a couple decibels louder than other racing beat exhausts and he has a racing beat exhaust with stock cat.

You won on looks maybe, I know I was hitting high Db, even with 3 layers of dyno matting I was shaking my car. How many watts is your kicker amp?

I am always down for another battle. My amp is 1000w single and turned way down, my sub control is all the way down so one more turn and the subs shut off, my bass is all the way to -12 that is the lowest it would go, and I was hitting as hard as I was. Now I know that you are pushing way over RMS for your W6's after looking at the specs on the JL website. I have the W7 and I am pushing right in the comfort zone. Now if I went and put my old amp to these subs I would be pushing the same wattage your pushing to a sub's that can handle more then yours can. I just wanted to go with a cleaner amp and have the system match. I love your set up though because you can use more trunk space to your advantage. Me I have what I have. They could not do the stealth box set up like yours could. Either way we both have killer systems in our 8's
