saw a titanium 8 tonight in SSF at the 7/11 off Westborough. Anyone know who it is? I was turning and just got a quick glimpse. Didn't know if it had appearance package, rotary accents, etc.

I'm here all day (all week, all month, all my damn life it would appear).

Just finished a rough cut and polish of a corrugated screen that my dad and me are working on for protecting the oil coolers and radiator (and just for looks, mostly ). Would love to get opinions on it. It's not mountable yet, but it can be held in place just to check aesthetics. Need to snap some pictures and get replies, if we can get it relatively easy to install, we might make a kit out of it for others that want something flashier than a wire mesh.

 

RE was doing dyno testing for some of his products. I was checking it out. Somebody drove up in a full mazdaspeed kit, skirts, rear diffuser, air dam and spoiler. It was impressive and looked clean. We were near the Auto Mall Parkway exit.

OK Guys,

Here is one for you. I was shopping for dirt bike gear for my sons today and was not driving my 8. As we were walking out of the shop I see a Red 8 Identical to mine driving in my direction. Well being the friendly sort that I am and also being excited to see another 8, I waved at the driver, complemented his car, and explained that I had the identical car. Now this guy just looks at me with a "Go to Hell" look and replies "Yeah have a good time" and kept driving. I felt so insuted! I just kept thinking "What an ***!" Now am I being overly sensitive or what? I know that when people have approached me I am very gracious. So If you are in Santa Rosa and see a Red 8 that looks like mine and the guy is chubby and has a goatee it is not me but most likely this stuck up ***!

ok, saw a titanium 8 on the 101 north today by Burlingame at about 5:45pm. Got a chance to waive at the driver. Anyone from this forum?

 

saw a new winning blue 8 in San Carlos at 4pm ish on Brittan in San Carlos. We passed each other going the other way. I honked and waved, but the driver was too cool to even look at another 8 besides his own.


...Rule #1: Always acknowledge other 8 drivers.

 

damn, am I the only 8 who spots other 8s in the SF area? I saw a red 8 on the 101 south today at the Holly Exit at around 6pm. The driver on his cellphone waved. anyone from here?

 

I think it is because most everyone has been asking him all day long what kind of car it was. I just got my 8 and people on the freaking freeway pull up to me and ask " HEy whay kind of car is that??" . Yelling atop of their lungs. Aside from that the chicks dig the car too. lol/

oh yeah, I am usually roaming the 101 around San Mateo to San Carlos. I still have my Menlo Mazda plates on. When I see another 8, I definitely try to say hi.

 

I see RX-8's all the time, its not really an event anymore, 5 or more a day in SF.
