Is it just me or . .. .
is everyone crazy homeless person trying to get run over by my car? THis happened about 4 times already this week, just random derilect people crossing right in front of me almost getting hit. And today some dumb *** is crossing the street I make a right turn behind him and he walks immediately back right into my car almost walking into it as I finished the turn!
All in a weeks worth of driving my 8, and the melty plastic feeling I get when I go fast.

As far as the last one, someone reversing their direction in the crosswalk, remember that as a driver you are not supposed to enter the crosswalk at all until the pedestrian has gotten completely to the other side. At least that's the law in CA but lord knows nobody ever obeys it. Having been nearly run over DAILY as a pedestrian in SF for about 6 years, I have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to the way motorists flagrantly disregard human life in the interest of saving a couple of seconds of their own time. Also I'm a cyclist so I'm frequent witness to the way that drivers use their vehicles in a threatening manner without even blinking an eye.
Sorry about laying this down on your thread, but keep in mind that a battle between a car and a pedestrian means the pedestrian always loses.
