I'm excited about getting a HUGE caravan together, regardless of what time we have to wake up. Coffee and donutes will make us all better.

I decided to keep the car. I had a dealership bring over a specific color combo on the IS350 that I wanted, but I started to have doubts, and couldn't come to terms that I would have to drive an auto. I decided to just take the turbo off, and try to be happy with the 8 with basic bolt ons. Now that I'm back to NA, and not having to worry and constantly check on things, I'm happy with the car again.

Ok, back to the subject....are you guys telling me I can't party in LA? Oh well, guess I'll have to make it up another time.

 

ok, here's a better solution, you can party all you want, just don't sleep! hahaha then you won't have to worry about waking up at all!!

 

Then I will be out there on a lawn chair trying to recover like I was last year. I'll just take it easy this time.

hey NGO are we gonna set up a meet with the san diego RX8 to meet up early so we can cruise with LA caravan... cause if not im gonna be at LA the night before.... we really should so we can get more people.. last year i had 10... it'll be really nice to add to the 24 that we now have

oh i might have my girl drive the rx8 cause i also want to bring the bike... i might have others ride along with us... about 8 or 9 other bikes....is that fine guys iknow their not rotaries but i told them how fun it was and they want to come... also so i can have a clean up crew...hahahha

D1GT, ask deedubb how he wants to do it. we originally wanted to have all rx-8s caravan because it looks crazier. but we may have an IS350 leading us too (cho) so I don't know. don't forget the rotary only parking though. lol.

Actually mike, don't really see a problem with the freeway. since it'll just be the 405. i'm just poking fun about getting some news shots. lol. that early in the morning we'll be free to cruise. our only worry, i believe, would be the stoplights and doing some redlight right turns...guna be some separation there.

 

sorry but no bikes please, we don't want to attract more attention than we are already going to have, don't get me wrong ,I like bikes and think they are cool but this is a rotary only event with the exception of cho's IS 350. Just roll up in your rx8 D1GT, I want to hear your turbo spool up!

 

Red light right turns are always fun. We just need to make sure that when you're making a right turn, to be curteous and pull over and wait for the person next to you.

Simple rule: always be able to see RX-8 brake lights in front of you, and RX-8 headlights behind you...

I do agree with Xdeedubbx on the bikes too. My best friend just picked up a new Triumph Daytona and wanted to cruise along but I told him this is a rotary only event. Sorry man. Besides... turbo RX-8 > bike.
