Guys,

I'm heading up the Phoenix Caravan (currently at close to 30 cars). We're working with the SoCal RX club to have a mobile car wash guy stop by our hotel on Friday afternoon to wash cars. The last 2 years this has worked out awesome. They usually charge about $10 (plus tip) and within 5 minutes the road grime is washed off and you're shined up and ready for Saturday morning. Maybe one of you could act as a Delegate or Contact for the Cali caravan and PM me. That way I can stay in touch and keep everyone in the loop as I learn more details regarding mobile washing times and locations.

 

Guys I got you'r pm about shirt size and color. I cant respont to all of them but dont worry I have you'r shirts.

I could possibly arrange the same thing if people can show up on that Friday.. a mobile car wash guy... (since it would be WAY too early to have the guy wash it on Saturday)...

problem is, some people only trust themselves to wash the cars. :P

Guys, we're (SoCalRX) working with a car wash guy for that Friday. He'll be at K1 from 5pm-7pm, tentatively. I just have to confirm the exact details with the point man whose in charge of the deal.

 

i wish i could take that friday off..i'll be working diligently into the night! Infact i'm going to start working on it a week in advance! hahaha...its stays in the garage all the time anyway..

 

my car may be staying in the garage for a while, so i should just start cleaning it right now with the porter cable. lol.

it's basically a detailing machine buffer. very popular among those detailing enthusiasts out there. grab some polish, a polishing pad, and go at those swirls and scratches. lol

 

i might be at San Deigo on the 27th...........
should I go with the San Deigo 8s??? if so where should I meet up with you guys, I will be at the UCSD's campus.

OK guys, this year I want to get a chance to meet everyone from the forum who is going. I always walk around asking people if they are on the boards and that's a pretty inefficent way of doing things. Just for the fun of it, I will be wearing a black Royal Purple hat so it won't be too hard to find me. We need to think of a way to all meet up out there.

 

Just come to the Sevenstock Reception at the Hilton (just before Sevenstock Dinner). We always hold it in the back courtyard with a cash bar and nametags so you can share your "online" name with others from this and other boards. It's a great way to get to know everyone before Sevenstock Dinner.

In fact, you can even come to the reception if your NOT going to the dinner, so stop by and meet many of the people that make this such a great community!

I keep getting recall notices for my car, constantly reminding me of the pain I went through with the stalling. Just great. 2004 was a bad year.

 

Anyone have an address for K1 Karting that I can Mapquest? Is this the same as DROMO 1 where they've held the Friday night carting at past Sevenstock events?

 

my friend works there. its on von karmen and mcgaw. dunno how to spell the von karmen but its spelled something like that. =)
