***** CARAVAN MEET UP TIME UPDATE AGAIN*****
So here's the latest update, many members have brought this to my attention and it does make sense. The meet up time is now changed to 5:30 am instead of 6am. We will promptly leave the Cerritos mall parking lot at 6:30am.

Forget it, I'll be at Cerritos at 2am, and driving to SS9 at 3am promptly. This will ensure that my car can park outside (Since I don't own a Rotary anymore). Also I can save you guys some spots that show up late at 7am in the morning for a 10am event. /endsarcasm...

Seriously though, I doubt it will be that packed.. parking will be fine. The lot at the RND was smaller, and all 15 of us from last year could have gotten into the MAIN lot without any problems. I say keep it at 7am or even 7:30am leave time.

 

530 sounds good i want good parking. last year i was at the vendor section which was great, but this year i want to be able to participate in the standings. and i'll be in LA that friday anyways

hmm... someone should set up a late group. for 6:31 to 7:30 people. cuz i know there are going to be a couple in that group.

hey guys im not sure if i can make it but ill try. is there like a caravan from bay area going to the meeting place? i read something in san jose but not sure.

 

that would be question for Moostafa... I'm pretty sure the NorCal guys are cruising down to meet up with us.

 

It would be faster cruising down the 5 freeway.. (expect a lot of tiny debris until we go past Beach Blvd.... OR we can cruise on down the 605-405 route. The thing is, this place is off the 5 freeway ... so that would be a much longer cruise.

We can all take surface streets until we get past Beach Blvd, then hop onto the 5 freeway... that way there is a less likely chance of rock chips and crap on the 5.

 

naw, 605-405. exit off irvine center drive and it's a few blocks away.

i think if we just take surface streets... we might as well all split into groups of 5-10. too many lights.

 

right on NGO, I think that would be the best route..

 

there is an official one, that we do every year, but me and mike (moostafa) decided to leave earlier this year to avoid the traffic and get to irvine quicker.

you could join the nor cal caravan, but the only reason that I decided against it, was b/c it took us 12 hrs to get to irvine. We can talk about this a little more in the norcal chat thread, so we don't go too OT.
