someone hit my car today

******* didn't even leave a note. not even a "i'm only writing this because people are looking at me" type note. sad day

 

wow.... that sucks, how bad is the damage?

 

took the paint off, but no dents. however, this happened last year, got sideswiped by someone that doesn't know how to park a damn car, except they managed to dent it. so i'm thinking of telling my insurance it was the same incident and seeing how much it'll be to fix.

 

If it's not too bad, don't go to insurance. The last thing you want is for it to rise.

 

very true. i'm gonna show my dad tonight and see if it's even worth it. i have a silver car, and that color is really forgiving on things like this.

don't think that would work seeing as how the dent got dragged along the back driver's side door..and scraped some paint off too.

My car once got hit at the airport. I suspect it was the parking people since it got pushed quite far though the damage wasn't bad at all and my car was in the middle of nowhere.

i don't have an 8. i got onto this forum because i photographed sevenstock for ToothFairy last year and got peer pressured to join and become addicted like everyone else. and it worked

i drive a nissan maxima, and although i hate silver cars cuz they all look the same, when things like this happen, i looooove them. perfect camouflage! i'll take pics when it gets a bit sunny out. it's overcast in irvine right now...

whats wrong with silver??? its stealthy...and looks decent when filthy...

 

silver= worst color of 8 ever , red = best color ever

 

ya..you never have to wash it, it can have dings and it doesn't matter. but on a car that doesn't have an interesting body shape, it just blends in with the rest of the cars on the road. and lets me be lazy and wash it once a month. i just want a car that i want to show off more and work on. cuz with the IS, i want to lower, tint, and hopefully get some nice rims. but i would never think of modifying my maxima..it would just look stupid

 

i prefer wining blue..i think that the nicest of all the 8's color
