The San Diego RX Club invites you on another one of our great cruises. This time we are heading out to the east county for about 100 mi. of great roads. About 2/3rds of the way through we'll stop for lunch. Lunch is at Live Oak Springs Resort in east county.

Promises to be a great drive. We've got 7's, 8's and others coming out for the run.

Sorry most of you guys missed it. We had a great drive through the mountains. There were nine rotaries (RX-7s and RX-8s) and a guest Corvette. Nice lunch spot, too - Live Oak Springs Resort. It was a nice size group so we did not have to worry about "loosing" anyone. I've attached a shot of the RX-8 going through the curve on Hwy 94.

We had a couple of new drivers, or ones that hadn't been around for a while that it felt like they were new. Stevo116, sorry you couldn't hang around for the entire drive.

Somehow, driving through East County and good time don't exactly sound right together.....

 

We didn't say SE San Diego. It's quite a bit further east.

Don't know what you're missing. I challenge you to check out the route laid down. Lots of places have great roads. Other than on the track/autocross, you won't have a better chance of experiencing the handling of you car. Freeways and on-ramps just don't cut it.

Drop on by next time to check for yourself.

 

hey guys, Im part of the SoCal Beach Cruise that Atilla started and I am currently working on setting up a lengthier cruise from MNAO (Irvine) to San Diego! ^yeah ill keep you guys/girls updated, we are aiming for some time in July. Yeah cheeetahs is a *negative* now that i remember what it is. I pass by it everytime i go to a korean grocery store in the area. But yeah, It'd be nice if you all can meet us once we get down there!

edit: Please let me know on/if July is good for you guys and which date would fit you most. I know all of you probably have meets also and runs with the 7's so let us/me know. Thanks.

The only weekend I have open in July is the 18th -19th...

 

July 18th sounds good, its give people enough time after 4th of July to regather their Fund$$$, and re-organized themselves from a crazy 4th of July week/weekend. So Saturday, JULY 18th it is! First post will be updated! (first post in my San Diego Cruise thread) Again, it'd be nice if we could meet you guys up once we get to San Diego. Do you San Diegan's have another thread besides this one?

 

We don't have another thread going right now so far as I know....this be a decent start to get our attention, in addition to the regular San Diego Cruise thread. Thanks for the heads up on the July 18 date!
