I know it's last minute, but we've got a Fast and the Furious drive-in meet scheduled for tomorrow. Meet at Fusion at 6:30pm, head to the drive-in (www.southbaydrivein.com) at 7:15pm, movie starts at 8:30pm. Check their site for additional movies playing. Hope to see some of you there.

Minor cruise update: http://where-yat.net/sdrxc/Next-Drive.htm

If you have Google Earth installed you will be able to see imagery of
the drive. You may have to unZIP the file and then open with Google
Earth.

So I drove up there this morning, totally thinking the cruise was the 18th, got there and was like WTH???

Man, that is one fun ride up the 8 though, got to test out the new CAI, definitely makes mountain driving in the blazing sun a lot more fun.

Greetings from Hawaii....I just wanted to know how the meet went today.

Hey "Vengeance," why did you want to know if I was from Jersey?

I wanted to know cause I'm from Jersey also... Small town called Stratford off the White Horse Pike... about 8 miles from Cherry Hill, and 15 from Philly.

Tekk, the Hooters meet got cancelled if that's the one you were referring to.

Probably see everyone at the cruise, I may or may not be in the 8.

That's cool. I know exactly where that is (forgot the exit number though). Maybe we'll meet each other at the next meet. Speaking of that, when is the next meet?

I didn't know that the meet was cancelled either. Oh well.

I'm going with the 7 guys on Sunday, seems like their meets have more people. I'll probably be the bastard child 8 driver unless Ngo gets his ride back.

I recall earlier this year that someone here tried to put on a cruise. Well he did... the only 8 joined by two 7's. I give that guy kudos for the effort.

John puts on a really good cruise, the mountains are great and worth driving if you really enjoy driving your car... and you should! The RX-8 is a phenomenal automobile.

We do not exclude other car makes during our cruises. In the past we've had a Celica, S2000, 240SX, Supra... you get the point, we are car enthusiast! On the 25th I know that there will be an MX-5 and an NSX joining in.

So get your tanks full and bring extra drinking water!

I'll probably end up driving the 8 too, and not just riding along in the Z. Damn you guys planning the good events when I'm trying to save money on gas! =P

Get the MS CAI, my mileage is up almost 3mpg this tank, and I've been holding the pedal to the floor til 8k rpms almost every shift. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when the noise fun wears off.

I came into some cash, so I dropped about 2g's of it on my car for sh*ts and giggles, worth every penny too...

I don't know how I managed this long without exhaust / intake noise... The short shifter is the absolutely bomb, really makes the shifter feel unbelievably precise...

I wouldn't mind going to either place. I bet we have the same amount of people show up. And congrats for getting your car out.

They just have to have something to bag on us about. I would have gone but I'm not on the right rims and wouldn't have been able to push it and then it would have given them something else to bag on. Oh well! Haha.
