Looks like the damage to our wall and now fence is going to cost between 15-20k to fix....insurance better cover it

OMG! Did you already have a company come out to give an estimate or is this just a guess given the original cost of putting the fencing in?
I haven't looked at my policy in depth, but isn't there a land slide/move section....? I would assume that most of the damage was caused due to land movement, right....not water damage?

If Erica's car was Casey's Grandmother, what does that make me....?
Bought the car Feb. 04.....currently has 79364 miles.
@Jedi.....enjoy those first 40k....cause the second 40k ends somewhere with a broken clutch bracket, a failing transmission, broken center console lid, and maybe some freeway debris through your front bumper. Enjoy the ride

yep, i'm not worthy compared to the rest of u... :P
well, actually- the parking situation at my office building is the main reason why i don't drive the 8 more often. the car-to-parking space ratio is something like 3:1. and, our valet parkers are notorious for dinging, scratching, and crashing cars. so far at least 4 of my co-workers have had their cars sent to the body shop for damage inflicted by those pineapple car parkers. so, unless i can wake up like 45 min early and get into work early and get a "self-park" space, i'm always hesistant to drive the 8 in anymore.
speaking of which, the rotary ninja wears a gray turban keith..

@ Zoo....don't have much to say about the 3....drove it for only the third time last night back from dinner. Erica has been driving it this week since she lost the snowfl8k. It may still be too early to ask her for a rating on the 3..cause it definately is not an 8.
Looking down at the gas gauge with 200 miles and still half a tank looks good though. My wallet was smiling.

Hmmm, Nino just bought one a few weeks ago....but at that price maybe we could get one for our other tv. I'll pass on the info to Nino, he's also looking for the good deals.
a failing transmission: Way ahead of ya. I think I was the first one here to get my transmission replaced.
broken center console lid: That happened after 10,000 miles
and maybe some freeway debris through your front bumper: - waaaayyyy ahead of ya on that. Might be time for a respray this year.

Geez Jorge you really have to be such a downer....lol. Of course I'm the dork that just figured out that the player Nino just bought IS the deal Cesar mentioned. Hmmm maybe someday my brain will start working again.
I'm sorry Zoo, I didn't mean to be a downer! It'll be good to have an HD player now to watch the movies you've already purchased but there is currently a shift towards blu ray right now so future releases will most likely be on that format.
Just didn't want you ending up with two of those.

there is a meet?
So last year I remember trying to convince my friend that hd-dvd was gonna win . . . . looks like I was wrong.
but it just goes to show you
PS3 is better!!!!!

yeah, it is an interesting story to watch....and even more interesting to speculate on who will have the new HD format...and who will be stuck holding their Beta Max players (Beta Max vs. VHS).
How many people here actually bought a Beta Max player, or had family members that did?
When I was growing up, I didn't know a single person with a Beta player.
