h-tech i beleive drop the car less then the RB springs, he already has rb intake and exhaust if you want to stay the same.

So are our cars supposed to wear the tires faster in the fornt or rear? i am aligned but my rear tires are almost down to the tread marker and the front of tons of tread left.

I didn't have my stock tires long enough to wear through them, but I did rotate them once from front to back. If your seeing the tread marker, it is too late to rotate....and more than likely, you'll get pulled into buying four tires if you don't just take in the wheels and have tires mounted on the two you want to replace. They'll give you that whole, we can't release your car given that your tread is low on the front tires as well.

lol, yeah mazda suggested i get new tires. dang i coudl have sworn they are less tehn 2 years old. i suppose i will make the rotation and see hoe mcuh more i can get out of them. and then i either get to get 4 new 18" or 2 new 19"

i know you are not supposed to mix tires but can i put the same size tires in a different brands on my car as long as i pair them to the right axel?

loren: you can put two different brands on the car, just make sure they're at least on the same axle. Not ideal but as long as they're both in the same class you should be okay.

ie; can't have All Seasons up front and Ultra High Performance on the rears.

i have fuzion ZR-i on my volks but i need to replace two of them. most likely i was going to get the same thing but if i saw two tires that were really cheap, for instance the potenza that were on clearence last week (but they didnt have the right size) i would to that. i just wanted to check. the ZR-i are not that much.

where do u guys usually go to get tires changed?

i usually go to costco, but i haven't had to do my 8 yet... am thinking (only thinking) about getting new rims when the time comes and will need my TPMS moved over. so, am wondering if costco will even do that.

costco no longer touches tires that they didn't sell you.
America's Tire company is usually pretty good.

the wheels on my 8 were Axis Hiros 275/30/19 - rear, and 245/35/19 - front

and my car was lowered with Eibach springs. there was no wheel well rub or anything anywhere on my car. but, the rear tires were slightly smaller in diameter to the stock wheels, which apparently is a decrease in overall HP. keith would know more about that because his wheel size was the same as mine.

btw, i still miss my 8....

^its blank

Sears wont touch tires they dont sell either.
i usually go to discount tire mainly becasue it is close and i got a life time alignment there. i will probabley buy my tires from tire rack and then take them in loose. it is much cheaper to mount that way.

Careful with tire wear, remember all the bad stoires from those who have been in accidents because of bad tires....and especially during rainy season.

Damn, I'm actually really bummed out right now. Remember that Ferrari accident I posted about earlier?
I just found out that the driver who was killed was Charles "Mask" Lewis, the Founder of Tapout clothing.

For you MMA fans out there, you'll know who he is. R.I.P. Mask, we'll miss you.

I wathced it this morning on TV, and while they were showing the wreckage, a black RX8 was driving through the scene.
