went to catch up with Cesar up at Crestline today, but the 15 was a parking lot...so didn't make it up there. I did go back to the "sunset" spot to get some of my ride this time.

Here's one with the Black and White main photo, with the car in color ("Lesper special")...and with four photo slots for mods or additional shots (in color)....along with the screename at the bottom.

Now since I didn't have a pic of Speed's interior/radio, or a recent pic of the wing...I've put two pics to hold the place for those. Also, I realize that the rim/wheel pic has a date stamp. I hate date stamps, and think they would look bad in the calendar. I've asked for a newer pic from Speed to replace this one as well.

My idea with the screen name is to use the same font, same size, and have two layers. The front layer would always be black (goes with the Black and white theme of the main pi), and then a second/back color in the car color. In this case, yellow.

I like the font, but of course, we could always change this as well.

Opinions....?

Keith if you give me the image I could probabley photoshop the dates out, as for his stereo I have this picture (what a drity floor). I think it is looking good though, question is, is it unamious (SP) for the color format...if we can get a format down this can go a lot faster. say somethign like:
-black n white w/ color image with color thumbnails accross the top or bottom or down the side (pick on eside only for images), pic a common thumbnail size say 1.5x2.5 (?, or what ever the ratio is) same with the text, font and size...color can change with the car. It would be cool if we can get each MAIN image to be different, i.e. not all snow or dead tree or facotry or parking strutrue etc.

I vote for Black and White center pic (with car in color), and four pics across the top in color. I also like the idea of screen names now that I see what it looks like.

I am in the middle of cleaning up after a xmas tree, the word from the body shop is that my car SHOULD be ready tomorrow evening....did you ever get your body work done? What do you guys think about outlining the little pics in same color as the car to keep the grays of the pics from blending into the b/w background?

I went up to hwy 138 today after work.
I took tons of photos, using different camera filters, and slightly different angles.

Rather than post tons of similar pics, I've uploaded them to my website for you guys to give me some input if you can.

I have 2 different photoalbums.
The first is a smaller size (640x480 friendly).
The second is the fullsize pic.

Use the First Album to see the whole scene.
The second album was made incase anyone wants to download the fullsize pic and photoshop it.

I'm going to try to go tomorrow morning at sunrise to take pics by the lake with the sun rising behind the car. I can only stay there until 6:30, then I have to head out to work, so I may not get the shot I'm looking for.

I like how my sample turned out. I agree about the time stamps, I finnally turned that off on my camera.


How about Just like my sample.... that seems to be what everyone likes.

I know you had the last pic for a place holder, but how about replacing it with this one of under the hood. I like everything else for mine..... now I just need another main pic, what do you think of the one below, it's nothing special, but it is a new pic.

speed...I like the main pic we have right now...do you think you could get back up there and re-create with your car now? not now of course, cause it's dark, but you know what I mean.

I think pic #53 is my favorite. The others are portrait format and will leave a whole bunch of white space on your month. Pages are landscape format (8.5 x 11). The only way to improve on the shot you have in #53 (in my opinion), was to go more from the side, or to have your wheels turned. I want to be able to seperate your car from Speeddemon's. Your wheels are a big styling element that makes your car yours, and you can't really pic them up in #53.

On a side note, that looks like an awsome location. Both Erica and I reacted the same way when we saw 53 for the first time...."wow".

Buy the way i think if we do a border around the thumbnail we should use black (small) the color might be a little to contrasting.

that intake shot is incredibly blurry, but here's a sample with the right top pic removed.

Lesper would have to take that recent car pic and do his magic to it before I could replace the center pic.....Lesper, Casey wouuld like that second pic he posted to be B/W'd.

Speed...the pic is formatted in a way that i can not get it to fit the 8.5x11 sizing. This is what it would look like stretched to fit.

OK here you go...as for cesars the auto cross pic of the car itself seems a little small. it is nice to have a nice and large picture for the main portion.

I real don't care for the 3rd pic. The autocross pic cause of the tape.
If you guys think it looks OK, I can live w/ it, but it's not my first choice.

Also, the pic from the back of my car. Can we put one that has that angle, but includes my license plate?

I'll go tomorrow and get the pic you suggested. More wheels.

I know you have pictures of mods, like stereo and interio...is this something you wouuld like to have, and if so, which pictures would you like to replace....pic numbers are 1, 2, 3, and 4...from left to right.
